About Natalia Gedik – experienced masseuse in Orpund

My name is Natalia Gedik. For more than 30 years I have been supporting people with my hands – and with close attention to what they need in the moment.

1993 – The beginning

It all started with a decision.

My passion for massage began back in 1993. After finishing school, I completed training in manual therapy and classic massage abroad.

Even then it was clear to me: this work is not simply technique. It's about sensing what a person needs in the moment – and giving them time.

Five years in hospital

The school you can't book anywhere.

I then worked for five years as a masseuse in a hospital, working with people in a wide range of life situations.

Those years shaped me: careful, attentive work, listening closely, and a fine sense for pressure, pace and boundaries.

Arriving in Switzerland

Starting over – deliberately.

After moving to Switzerland, I completed massage training in Bern in 2016, to have my qualifications recognised here as well.

Looking back, it was more than a formality. It was a chance to take a close, fresh look at my own craft.

Since 2017 – Her own practice

A place that suits me.

Since 2017 I have run my JaNatEmi Massage Practice in Orpund with real passion. Here I can work exactly as I believe is right: calm, personal and unhurried.

No high-volume operation, no standard treatment. Just time for the person in front of me.

Alongside this

Experience from many different worlds.

Alongside my practice, I have worked and continue to work in various establishments. Each of these positions has shaped my work.

Spa
As spa therapist at the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel (2018–2021) – high standards, refined routines, a very varied clientele.
Hamam
At Oktagon Hamam Bern (2022–2023) – a different culture of touch, plenty of warmth, calm and ritual.
Sport
At Sportzentrum Zuchwil (2023–2024) – firmer work on strained muscles and recovery.
Care
Care Support training at asFam (2024–2025), and working as a Care Assistant since 2025.
"For me, the person always comes first. I take my time, listen closely and tailor every treatment to your individual needs."

Ongoing learning is important to me. Even after more than 30 years I keep learning – because every person is different and my work is never quite finished.
